The question

What it was about

A housing policy adviser in Fryslân needs to know every day what is happening: news, decisions by municipalities and housing associations, new rules and the agenda for the week.

That means going through dozens of websites, newsletters and agendas every day, and then still deciding what matters. The question: can that work be ready every morning, without having to wonder whether it is right?

What we did

From source to briefing

  • Collecting sources

A collection pipeline of our own reads 42 sources every day: municipalities, housing associations, news and government.

  • AI as editor

AI judges what is relevant, groups messages on the same subject and summarises them.

  • A check on every sentence

Every sentence in the briefing has a quotation from the source, and code checks that the quotation is really there.

  • Brand, web app and mail

Name, logo and design, a web app with archive and search, and the briefing by mail.
